Floreana Island Tour

Pirate history and living nature

From Santa CruzFull day · 8 hoursEasy to moderate

The experience

Floreana is the island with the richest human history in Galápagos: pirates, whalers and the first settlers left their mark in caves, freshwater springs and legends still told today. This tour combines that past with giant tortoises, sea lions and snorkelling in crystal-clear water.

In the highlands you will visit the Asilo de la Paz and the Pirate Caves; on the coast, beach time and snorkelling among marine iguanas, turtles and tropical fish. Transfers on the island are by chiva, the traditional local bus.
