Pinzón Island Tour

A snorkeller's paradise

From Santa CruzFull day · 8 hoursEasy to moderate

The experience

Pinzón is a tour built around the water: 90% of the day is spent in mask and fins. Its rock walls and sheltered waters hold a density of marine life that is hard to match anywhere in the archipelago.

Turtles by the dozen, playful sea lions, rays, white-tipped reef sharks and clouds of tropical fish make this the favourite excursion of anyone who puts the underwater world first.

90% snorkelling

Several sessions at different points around the island, with far more real time in the water than other tours.

Curious sea lions

Pinzón's colonies are famous for their juveniles, which swim and play around visitors.

Optional hands-on fishing

Some departures include an artisanal fishing demonstration en route, a local tradition of the area.
