Kayak Tour to Tintoreras Islet
Paddle among penguins and sharks
The experience
A few minutes from Puerto Villamil, Tintoreras islet holds the best of Galápagos in miniature: penguins standing on the lava, marine iguanas by the dozen, sea lions dozing and white-tipped reef sharks patrolling its channels.
This tour explores it in the quietest way possible: by kayak. You will paddle through sheltered water between mangroves and lava, approaching the wildlife with no engines and no noise.
Wildlife from the kayak
Penguins, sea lions, marine iguanas and turtles appear a few metres from your paddle.
The reef shark channel
A lava channel where white-tipped reef sharks rest in shallow, crystal-clear water.
Suitable for everyone
