Kicker Rock Tour
Snorkelling between two giants of rock
The experience
Kicker Rock (León Dormido) is what remains of a volcanic cone split in two: two vertical walls rising 140 metres above the sea, separated by a narrow channel where sharks, turtles, rays and endless shoals of fish swim through.
It is the most famous snorkelling site on San Cristóbal and one of the essential Galápagos experiences. The tour is rounded off with beach time in one of the nearby bays.
The shark channel
Float above deep water while Galápagos sharks and hammerheads (in season) pass beneath your fins.
Walls 140 metres high
The silhouette of the sleeping lion at sunset is one of the archipelago's classic images.
A beach to finish
After the snorkelling, a rest on a white-sand beach such as Manglecito or Puerto Grande.
